The “Outstanding Young Professorships Scheme” represents the University’s commitment to excellence in nurturing rising stars and young talents.
An Outstanding Young Professorship will be awarded to an Assistant or Associate Professor.
ABOUT
THE
SCHEME
Naming
An Outstanding Young Professorship may be perpetually named in honour of a donor, corporation or other honouree(s) as recommended by the donor.
Donor Acknowledgement
A dedicated event will be held in honour of the donors and the Outstanding Young Professors. The Outstanding Young Professor shall carry the name of the award on all occasions of public attention, including business cards and academic publications.
Gift Requirement
An Outstanding Young Professorship is created with a donation of HK$10million. The annual income from the endowment will support the incumbent’s research and academic activities.
